Never did a curved one. And CF is totally doable. The vinyl is just spendy and I haven't ordered any yet but plan on it. I think CF will look pretty sick when doing large decals.

Adding myself to the sheet. Is "horizontal" just the standard North(86)West, no silhouette?

Yes, horizontal text is like the one in the link you referenced. Silhouette is still horizontal but with a car silhouette. Local P/U and payment on decals will be fine.
