Cool stuff, what did that funnel cost?

Asking because I've got the exact same one and suspect ATS charged a bit more.

The DIF cost R820(excl Vat) and Torco cost R300(excl Vat), I got the funnel from the Sunninghill builderswarehouse for R15 or R25, cannot remember exactly, but around there...

Got that excited feeling again!!
Car is prepp'd, packed and ready for the racetrack tomorrow - can't wait.
I think I'm a trackaddict, and I'll be back in rehab on Monday

In the pic below, see my radar detector with the power cable disconnected. On a racetrack - huh?? How ironic...
It picks up a signal on the back straight at Midvaal Raceway, and beeps like mad at the worst possible time just as I'm shifting 4->5 at about 175kph.
This is seriously distracting and not cool because 4->3 by mistake happens quite easily (2x to me at that spot, but I'm not blaming the detector).
9000rpm ain't good for an FA20. Mine's been there twice, and it hasn't exploded yet...
It's not made of glass like some think.

Tomorrow's target - 1m22's, and one day (soon) when I grow bigger goolies, I WILL go sub 1:20 on that track.

Probably CCTV cameras... And a modern Volvo also sets the thing off with Laser warnings. Annoys me!

Yep, ditto.
New Volvos are a PITA, but I'm not complaining.
I've only had one ticket since I got my detector, and guess where that was...

About 2kms from Midvaal Raceway, and I'd forgotten to reconnect the bloody thing.

Some short video clips that I took on Friday at very cold, dusty and slippery Midvaal Raceway.
Lap times weren't good, but I had a lot of fun.

It was a wonderful privelege to mix it with some very powerful and fast cars.
Only two of them (GT3 and California) were obviously quicker than me. Another 3 were about the same, and I was quicker than the rest.
But I had a local knowledge advantage because I know Midvaal quite well

The cars were: BMW 335i, BMW M3 (x2), BMW Z4M, Chev Lumina SS, Ferrari California, Honda S2000, Mercedes C63AMG, Porsche GT3, Toyota 86NA, Toyota 86SC (mine)

In this video you'll see the awesome power of a Porsche GT3

The other car in this video is a BMW M3

The other car in this video is a Chev Lumina SS (that big V8 sounds awesome)
