Sorry to burst your bubble dude. BBS STI forged rims would be at least twice that price a pop!

If things haven't changed thru the years, forged BBS rims are made by Neez in Japan.

That comes out to about $1900 USD. I paid about $1800 shipped from japanparts for 17" ones, center caps included. But dealership MSRPs are heavily marked up and you can knock off 10-20% if you find the right dealer or coupon. Online shops such as subaruonlineparts.com usually sell discounted parts... just needs to be in their database with a good USDM part number to find it.

Yeah I know. It was kind of a joke. haha I've been around the Subaru scene for years now. Just today I was looking up the stock BBS wheels for the 2008-2014 STI. The price dropped from about $1,200 each wheel down to $940ish each wheel as of today.

I was just stating that the price isn't very desirable for some Enkei wheels of that caliber.

Regarding the STi wheels, Silver and Black seem to be the most popular choice.
I recently pulled the trigger on a set of Gun Metallic 18's. There are so few pics of this finish, so I was worried it would look dull or too light. But I am so in love with them.

Any chance you can give a little review on those bad boys compared to the stockers once you've driven them a bit?

springs ride firmer than stock but still comfortable. stiffer spring rates let the car rotate quicker. it feels more neutral balanced. in fact, the easiest way to say it is the car feels more like the fr-s/86. the springs are designed with the stock dampers in mind so it will not wear out

What this guy said, I'm sure he can describe them better than me!

But the ride feels as smooth and similar to stock, I haven't taken any hard corners on them but it might be hard to tell since the car already handles nicely from the factory. I was basically after a drop that would be safe with the stock suspension, yet providing a noticeable drop. Yes, it's only around 15mm but it is definitely noticeable in person.
