Just specialized tire shops that do it dozens of times a week.

Doesn't make much sense...

I've never seen a Subaru wheel with a special valve stem requirement, JDM or otherwise. The TPMS sensors can work in any regular valve stem hole. And its a world car, so the TPMS isn't just a US thing.

Unless there is a piece of information we are missing here?

What? Tpms has been used for the last decade. You don't need a specialized shop, just likely a torx key and regular hex socket. You can even do it at home if you can unbead the tire.

these tie bars are not mandatory. Subaru modified install tips from 2011, early.

If you install these bars you need these nuts:
M12x54mm (#901120131) Eur 4,20 each - you need 4

If you DON'T install these tie bars (Subaru released on 2011, early) you need these nuts:
M12x37mm (#901120103) eur 3,20 each - you need 4

Tie bars (LH and RH reverse equal) : 26261FE000 Eur 40,20 each - you need 2.

German prices, 19% MWST included.

You can easily find generic nuts with these metric features, be sure they are 12.9 steel rated (10 at least).

DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF LOCTITE.!! HEATING PROCESS MAY CAUSE TORQUE OVERTIGHT AND DAMAGE BACK HUB WHEEL

Hey if someone can be so kind, how about scanning the STI Japanese installation instructions for these parts and put them onto the website too. That'll help klutz like me who can't find them anymore (wish I still have the instructions for the draw stiffener, they'll probably have to come out when changing the clutch ugh).

Some of these parts are "spare parts" not aftermarket parts such as styling parts. therefore you'll never find some install papers. You need to access to ordinary body shop manual and see procedures.
No English version is available about exclusive JDM parts, like mostly STI spare parts are.

Someone else installed the STI clutch in their ride and I asked the same question. Here's their nice response in the last couple of posts!
