I hated it on the first page, but with the spoiler, it actually looks pretty good! I think it would look better with red or OEM tails, though.

I liked the tinted head and tailights. I might do the same for mine.

One small bit of friendly advice... Next photo shoot bring some tire wet to black out the plastic in your wheel wells. It will further enhance the "clean car" look and your pics!

The car seems to me like Two-Face. The racing stripe on the hood (to me) doesn't seem to work with the blacked out roof and two-tone trunk. Seems like a little cognitive dissonance. If either were done to the full length of the car then maybe my OCD about symmetry (or a balance of negative space) wouldn't bug me so much.

However, I think the paint job itself looks fan-friggin-tastic! At at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what a bunch of keyboard commandoes whom you will probably never meet think of your car. If you look at it and it makes you smile then that is all that matters in the world.

And, I have to agree with the concern about the amount of light getting through the tail lights. I have been rear-ended 12 times in the last 15 years here in Floriduh. If I could put a 15KW work boat spotlight on the back end so these dumb-arses would see me then I would.

I'm not much of a fan of the red, but that has turned out very clean.

I like the painted black roof, that would make me smile every morning I see her in the driveway

These are spray tinted, then cleared, not some cheap overlay! Anyways, here's a pic for you to show you how it looks... in daytime. Just lights on, no brakes.

Being honest, I am not feeling the two-tone style paint. That said, you did an amazing job, it looks first rate, and I admire your attention to detail.

As long as you like it, that is what matters.

I liked it until I saw the racing stripes. You've overdone it IMO.

Yep. Racing stripes killed it for me.
I think it'd look clean with red-out tails and no racing stripes.
Blacked out tails/lights are kinda dead imo.

And this is just my opinion. Do whatever you want, it's your payments.
Though I'd rather see/make differing opinions than have a circle jerking forum.
