In Belgium it's going to cost €31,690 for the manual which is $42,328 USD. The automatic version costs €33,190 which is $44,331 USD. We only get one model called "comfort". It's got all the options except toyota touch&go navigation, the aero pack and leather interior.

Just remember that the US and Canadian price does not include tax, which I believe is included in most other countries price.

It's a miracle taxes haven't gone up IMO, I guess that's the American attitude. Let politicians throw all the money away, and incur more debt instead of either paying it off or stopping the spending.
Either you really hated Bush or you have a very short term memory. This chart shows that under the MAJORITY of Bush's administration gasoline was way way lower than it has been under Obama's administration.

The overall comparison isn't even close. And when gasoline prices went up Bush actually did something about it, as federal land drilling increased over 100%. What has Obama done about it? Vetoed the Keystone pipeline and discouraged federal land drilling, which has declined 34% under him. BTW federal land drilling was up over 50% during Clinton's years as well...

Anyway, my apologies for thread derailment

I was planning on two, one a daily driver and a second for drifting... without sponsors the drifting unit ain't gonna happen.

Guff,,, we are hoping they create a GT86 formula here. Honda have a "one make race" in which you can buy into a Civic or Jazz(Fit in America) and compete at races organized by Honda. Toyota have done a similar thing with there Varis front wheel drive model with is a bit of a joke given the car is in no way designed to kit out as a race car. If an when Toyota do announce this series then it will be down to the price of the car again!!!!!!

The term affordable sports car does not apply here in Singapore

Yikes Sazu.... Maybe we will have to organize GT86 racing/drifting weekends where we fly to Australia or Japan just to drive these cars, then fly back. With the cost of cheap flights on AirAsia we could buy cheaper cars and race every weekend for 2 years and still have money in the bank!! :-) Feel for ya..
