This was discussed some time ago. IIRC, the car was stock. The guy lost control and stalled. Could not restart the car due to OEM crash-protection logic and dry grass under the car ignited. This was in Korea, I think.

Would be funny if once translated he mentions his Visconti flex fuel kit. Car spun out in the dirt, no major crash.

Crash was probably a strong word........should have said lost control. I was thinking the same thing about the translation and visconti tune, lol.

I'd have to guess that the fire above was caused by dry grass contacting the converter...........

Yep - after that fire, alot of us just said "fuck it, I'll keep my crickets."

Basically I believe it came down to a botched install of the fuel pump / lines.

Let's play Devil's Advocate here for a minute. What if the fire was caused by something else than the work done to the fuel system. Maybe a blown headgasket or a leaking oil filter, something OTHER than what everyone assumes.

Will everyone out there then be apologetic for all the negativity and finger pointing or will all those become Al Sharpton's and Jesse Jackson's? (reference the Duke lacrosse players vs. the stripper)

Just sayin.............

OP's insurance company may make restitution and we may never know the reason it happened. It's a possibility.........

IMHO still doesn't change the fact how Visconti is still trying to make business out of the "upgraded kit" which is suppose to aid with the leaky defect...
Oh and did I mention about him not owning up to his mistakes and bad customer service?
