Yeah the leather reminds me of my RSX's leather, not that good at all. But the alcantara was great.

I checked out that car on Thursday night when it arrived. It's a pre production car so there are minor things that are different. For example it's a limited, but no climate control. It was most likely a press car, therefore some of the wear and tear may be abuse. Trust me i work for a company that loans our modified cars to magazines for test drives, and we are constantly replacing parts.

sorry about dark pics. Still using a 3GS

Interior in the Subaru does seem better quality than the Scion. The two cars share many parts like the seats, the steering wheel, but climate control, radio, and the dash trim and gauge designs are different. The pics below are from a scion. The alcantara interior is decent for a car under $30k. The FRS interior seemed too boy racer for me with brightly colored bolsters in red.

From my understanding the FRS and BRZ Premium use different material for the seats with many saying the BRZ Premium has better material.

I haven't had a chance to sit in the BRZ with cloth, just leather, but it makes sense. The cloth in the FRS seemed real basic, like typical scion XB material.

Ran my ass to the dealership when I saw this post and got to have the car all to myself the entire time I was there (probably about 30-45 minutes).

Thank the shitty weather today for that.

Thanks for the pics! We got out mitts on one over the weekend for a while. Fun to finally be seeing these pop up in person!

I presume you mean these straps? I think they're suppose to detach so you can have someone climb into the back (ahahhahaha....?)

Pretty disappointing to hear of stuff being broken on the display models. Even if it's little stuff it's either cheap or getting abused as a display.

Thanks for sharing. I keep hearing how tight it is in the back but nothing really new.

I thought (hoped) they were just a prototype thing - they look cheap and cheesy. But I see now they are on the official website photos too, so they are here to stay.

I don't know why they are even needed, my seat belt comes from exactly the same point on the B pillar and I don't have any shoulder guide on my seat. Maybe they can be removed.

Yes sir, this is exactly what I mean the seat belt guide/strap. The whole button would RIP off from the seat leaving a hole on the seat.

The guide is there so the seat beat can be reach easily instead of having to reach all the way to the B-pillar, but this is just a bad design overall.

My acura has a plastic guider that serves to fold the chair too and I think that is nice.
