3" vendors aside from PTUNING & FBM?
I haven't looked into FBM. While PTUNING offers a 3" catback, I haven't seen PTUNING offer a 3" overpipe and test pipe... I know FA20Club has a 3" test & overpipe. I don't know if they have the accompanying midpipe to complete a full header back 3".

If you already have our DS-325 modular exhaust and plan to run our PTUNING turbo system, you will only need to buy the optional 3" midpipe to complete your true 3" Turbo-back exhaust system. MrC |

Im sure we will see more over time, from what ive heard a 3inch overpipe is a very tight fit some are fixing it with sway bar spacers or engine mounts.

Someone from Perrin said there simply isn't enough room. Thanks for the info though.

3" all the way back for a turbocharger is fine and dandy, but I would not dare run that on a supercharger. Turbos quiet down exhausts - superchargers do not.
Even now with the JDL UEL header I have, and ARK DT-S exhaust thats 2.5" its up there in noise. I had to remove my front pipe because that setup was too loud. I'm trying to decide if I should run the header/front pipe and put the stock catback on, but i'm not sure yet.. lol. |
