Good idea though.

Though don't be surprised, they gotta cut corners to make the watches the price they go for...
I think there might also be a difference in quality of glass crystals too, my old Swatch glass would get scratched if you so much as looked at it, but the skeleton I posted a few pages back has survived a couple of hits against sharp things and not a scratch.

Co-founder of Panerai Central here. (@paneraicentral via IG)

Besides a decent number of G-Shocks... here are a select few that I really enjoy wearing.

Rolex 18k Day-Date (circa 1963)
Vintage heirloom piece.

Ball Fireman Skylab LE
Limited Edition one out of 1600.

MKII Nassau
US made by MKII, Swiss ETA movement - on Horween Shell Cordovan NATO

Panerai Base Logo (PAM 000)
Can't be without this piece, pictured with Horween Chromexcel strap

Rolex Submariner 114060 (Ceramic bezel, ND)
Probably one of my favorites, love the symmetry.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Alarm (Navy SEALs Incursion Edition)
Limited to 62 pieces out of the BH store, the late Paul Walker had #47, I am #49. Type the name in and you'll find my video of it on YouTube. Really spectacular piece. On 3rd party NATO

Love that JLC alarm. I saw your video before on youtube and while watching it I was hoping you would let the alarm chime. Do you have any videos of it ringing?

Thanks, could've sworn I did the alarm bit, but I'll see if I can record that feature for you sometime.

Damn, there are some real nice watches in here.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd have this one

Got something incoming. First brand-new Swiss watch for me. Tissot Couturier in rose gold IP, and black. I'll post pics when it's in, sometime next week I hope.

But I have a style question about what do I wear with it. I picked the rose gold because independently the watch looks awesome in the colour combination, but didn't think through about how to dress for it.

Suggestions?

The easiest way is to find straps that complement the watch head. Some straps have unfinished edges, some have more casual buckles, others are formal beyond belief.

Rose gold is a nice color but I do prefer neutral tones in a more daily watch. Do you have the photo of the specific watch you ordered? Maybe from a dealer?

I looked it up, the look is pretty formal, I'd get a dark brown strap to pair with it. The black dial tends to make the watch more somber while white gives it a casual air.
