Car looks so odd without the FMIC

Rear fitment, going to do a little more work to the quarters

And yes, that's hearing protection that stays in my car lol

Got bored today and wanted to see how much the Treadstone TR10 filled the bumper opening. I'm 85% content with how much it filled, which I'll live with as it's was pretty cheap and scored a decent deal on it brand new. Keep in mind when it's actually mounted the bumper cover will be trimmed and the core will sit quite a bit lower and further inward, literally just wedged it into the cover to see how much of the length of the opening it took.

Overall satisfied with the quality of the core, cast end tanks are pretty nice.

For a completely stock 2jz other than fmic, exhaust, intake, and piggyback utilizing a @Chase Bays harness I know it can easily be done. This is with new maintenance items included(timing belt, drive belt, idler pulleys, fluids, etc.)

I have kinda compiled some last minute extras that were completely unnecessary so when I get the car completed I'll make a break down of the cost with both needed items and items that are more so "desires". Also will give my final total after selling off my old parts.

i know of two people that i grew up with in arkansas that have it done and have seen one local in colorado driving around, you can even google 2jz frs and about two dozen different builds show up. Build looks good either way and look foward to seeing the progress.
Any idea? I couldn't find shit haha

In fact, our builds don't even really show on google without specific terminology. It's all sponsor builds (E.kanoo, Tuerck, etc)

There are still other mods that are needed to support the power which I have not seen you mention. Mods such as...

axles
rear-end
driveshaft
turbo manifold
suspension upgrades
a legit tune
fuel system (pump, lines, fittings, filter, regulator, and so on)

Chase bays harness retains factory electronic power steering, so I'm dropping the 2j ps pump. I will be retaining a/c & heat with the oem HVAC controls, the 2j compressor, and likely factory condenser and heater core with custom lines and hoses.(have a friend of a friends shop that will be handling this once the car is near completion.)

Axles- will be running stock shafts initially, not overly concerned right away as I do not drag/launch. Also have plenty of axle angle correction mods(lowering rear top hats, rear diff risers, and subframe risers). I'll eventually undergo dss 600+ hp half shafts. Clutch kicks are the biggest worry lol

Rear end- assuming you mean rear diff, I'm more then confident with the oem rear diff holding above 500whp. Did plenty with altezza/is300 rear diffs throughout my life in Japan with numbers above what I'll be making and also have a spare altezza diff with a 1.5 way LSD. My single isn't very large and I doubt I'll see above 500whp ever.

Driveshaft- custom DSS Aluminum or steel one piece, both stupid cheap. Turn around time after giving needed specs is less than 3 weeks. 1 piece steel shaft is still significantly lighter than oem chaser/supra/etc DS and I'm not very fond of lightening the driveline/powertrain in excess and I'm already lightening in other areas so I'll likely go the steel route due to my uncommon preferences.

Exhaust manifold- have been given a manifold off my friends 2j 850+ whp s14. No clue what it is, but it'll be here sometime next week.

Wastegate- running a turbosmart 38mm as I felt no need to go with a 44mm gate as I no longer plan to run <14 since I will no longer be using stock Jdm aristo twins. (Gate was given to me for a case of beer). I know some awesome people

Suspension- custom front sway or no front sway at all(we'll figure this out when I redo my spring rates/valving/likely different coils in general). Currently on stance ss+ pros, white line rsb, adjustable rear control arms, bunch of random minor bits along with the stuff mentioned above.

Tuning- running dual ecu setup with the 2jzgte ecu being commanded with an apexi piggyback which will be tuned by a personal friend from Speed and Sound STL(well known jz tuning shop). Will switch over to ProEFI or AEM standalone with time, just trying to get it on the road without initially to show it can be done for a lot less than what's being tossed out. Who knows, if the piggyback does well I'll keep running it as the oem vsc/TCS will remain fully functional.

Fuel- fuel pump I'm still very undecided on what pump to run, but likely just the largest drop in tank I can find(frs fitment) unless we figure out a good way to run a large supra pump in tank, leaning towards making a bosch 044. As far as lines Chase Bays builds a frs to 1/2jz adaption kit in which will be ran with a Hybrid Racing FPR to stock aristo fuel rail and usdm 550's.
