Not outside of SoCal and especially if you aren't into the whole "show car" thing. Getting sponsored for a true SCCA/NASA/etc track build is damn near impossible unless you're a pro racer and/or the car is being provided for you.

Show car sponsorships are limited to the SoCal microclimate.

Car looks good nonetheless. I truly dig the deep TE37Vs.

Welcome to the car show scene. That was how majority of the imports on the mags did it. As far as I could remember, it was all about getting the hookup and knowing the right people.

I've always wondered how the short, fat Asian dudes always got the import model chicks.

This is why sponsored cars bother me. You get people that go searching for change in their couch cushions to be able to afford a single part they've been saving up for. People that have owned this car since the first couple weeks it became available. People that aren't just building this car so they can get featured wherever... People that are building a car for themselves. THAT takes a lot longer than "a few weeks"....

Well if you have the cash and good contacts in the industry, you can build a car pretty quick. I been in the industy for over 10 years and its my 5th build. I dont own a parts company or anything like that, I just really like fixing up cars and taking it to the track, see what the car can do and see what the parts I buy can do

Beyond even paying for itself, the packaging says "track build" but you open the box and find a show car. A time attack car needs parts far beyond what a grocery list of bolt-ons can provide. The build is backward for a track car but forward for a show car seeing some track time.

Instead, call it a "hellafunctional rocket bunny"—which is what it is—and I bet no one would hate or complain.

edit: Your front tires are stretched so it's technically half functional. Get some 255s on the front so the front doesn't push at the track.

Get some brake dust and exhaust soot on the bumper, then call it a track build.....and if this goes up for sale in 2 months i will be disappointed

Love the te37v's though.....

What were your previous builds and what kind of track times did they do?
