Yup mine did. I used something to pull the pipe back towards the rad support.

I've done that with a cable tie. It helped, but didn't solve completely. I'm thinking of grinding down the pulley bolts a bit. Is this a good idea?

I would take a look at the charge pipe mount first. Did you install it correctly?

To my knowledge, I did. It's tricky mounting the airbox and the pipe to that same bracket. I'll double check to make sure it's on properly.

This is also happening to mine as well. It was confusing the hell out me. I put in the stoptech pad, rotor, and braided line kit and I thought I messed something up.

Did you install the pipe with the rubber grommet on the bracket? If so, remove the rubber grommet - it allows the pipe to move on the bracket a little, and at the far end (down near the pulley) it can move enough to hit the pulley slightly.

i did install the pipe keeping the rubber gormmet in place. I'll remove it and take another cruse with the car as soon as I'm able to...

I did as well. I'll try take it off.

There was a spacer that was supposed to go between the bracket and the pipe. But I couldn't see a way to fit the spacer, intake box and the pipe bracket all in there. Is the spacer essential here?

Are we talking about the spacer that goes inside the rubber grommet?

No. My kit came with a spacer similar to those used for the metal under tray. This spacer was in the same bag as the other parts used for this pipe. Could it have been mistakenly put in with the kit?

Or maybe it is in there in case someone is using an aftermarket intake and can't use the OEM airbox bracket as a spacer?

That's not meant for that purpose, no. That was probably a spacer for the heat shield.

There is plenty of room for the charge pipe, but you have to put it and the hoses together *perfectly*. You may need to play around with it some to get it in the right place.
