Did you edit a post? lol

Anyways, I can't honestly remember if the 3" is slotted or not, but I can tell you that if you are running their 3" downpipe then you'll need AVO's overpipe and front pipe. It comes as a package and you can't buy them individually. if you look at my comparison pic, you can see why. They change the OEM routing to make sure it clears properly, and the overpipe now has a tab that bolts down on to a header stud

This build thread http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/...ge-3-and-more/ has a 2.5" downpipe

When you had your 2.5" dump + overpipe, did they all clear nicely without anything knocking?

Yup. The standard downpipe on the avo kit exits in the same spot as the factory header so the fit is the same. 2.5" over pipes fit no problem but some need to be kinda "pushed up" as they're tightened to keep them away from the crossmember. I was running the avo 2.5" overpipe prior to upgrading

When i get my car back from the body shop I'll put it up on a lift and try to push up the over pipe...

Could someone please tell me what is the size of the bov inlet and outlet?

I have an OEM evo8 diverter valve which measures 34mm both sides, and might just use this if it fits.

Any update on this? I've been thinking whether adding a short flex joint somewhere on the front pipe, forward of the pipe hanger, might help with getting the flanges to align easier.

I think the reason is that different brands of manifold, overpipe, front pipe all have some tiny amount of variation to their flange angles, and so a little bit of flex on the pipe system should help?

From AVO's facebook, very enticing

"The stage 4 has a larger intercooler with larger piping, a larger turbocharger, and the 3" exhaust piping. As the stage 2-3 setup is already good till 400whp, this is aimed at the 440+ builds"

wowza

Tomorrow I drop the car off at the body shop and she'll stay there for at least a couple of weeks. After I get her back i'll work out the issue and post the resolution...

How different are the 6MT and AT versions of the AVO Stage 1 kit?

Is it just the tune or are the piping and lines different?

Has anyone swapped kits between cars?

EDIT: Asking in case a used kit pops up.

The AT car has a pump running off the spot where the MT kit mounts the oil scavenging pump I believe.

I'm curious how that looks...don't think I've com across any pics of the AT kit's oil pump. How is it driven? Electrically?
