Hands up if you are using a Motiv or JDL 2.5" overpipe. Any fitment issues with the dump pipe?

(honestly, I'm not exactly sure how one would go about getting a torque wrench to some of those bolts, so that would be another question?..)

I got around to it finally. I checked my oil catch can and it did do its job of catching oil

I am using Motiv overpipe ... I have a custom 3" exhaust and the guy told me about having a little fitment issue when installing the overpipe and he had to modified it a bit.

So I finally a switched my motor for my turbo kit. I went from Toyota's synthetic 0w20, to Motul's 8100 100% synthetic 5w30. The car feels a lot smoother. I feel much more safer now while going into boost. Now all I need to do is invest in an oil pressure gauge. Any recommendations? I want a cheap 52mm oil pressure. One that I can simply just plug into the factory oil pressure sensor.

Can't do that. The factory oil press. sensor is just an on/off switch for when the pressure goes really low, to turn on the light on the dash. You need a dedicated sender with a gauge to read oil press.

Ok.
Will any oil pressure gauge be ok as long as I get the correct screw for where I mount it? I just want a really cheap one.

you usually get what you pay for. Buy the cheapest quality brand. You can Tee into the stock oil press sensor (I recommend a SS Tee, brass ones car break easier).

Or use the plug above the block, that Fastwrx has an adapter for to convert it to 1/8 npt which basically all oil press senders are.

That's the one I was thinking of. I'm going to just plug it above the block then. Thanks. If you don't mind me asking, what is your occupation? You seem like your a well rounded engineer.

Cool, I look up to people of those occupations. I'm going to school to become an engineer. I always like learning new things in that field.

If he has a Subaru, then it is almost mandatory he goes with the cheap Prosport gauges.
