Only issue is going to be the length of the arm, and mounting it up to the bracket. Not major issues, just something to look out for.
Thanks. Let me know what the factory tells you on ETA for that 12 psi actuator.

I didn't install the side trims that needed trimming because it got in the way of my oil cooler. I will keep an eye out on my temps now to make sure its properly cooling...

The bottom try should fit though...Mines barely has a gap from the bottom of the intercooler and it was damaged from shipping!

Nearly done with my install. Just got the basemap programmed, and got the car started to check for leaks:

It is a snug fit once everything is back in place

Having tip-in issues lately among other things. Updated my build thread here:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...24#post1273024

Looking for any input from previous cars or this platform. I'm hoping it's something simple like bad tune because of exhaust leak or something. I don't blame anyone in particular even if it sounds like it. Each vendor I've worked with has been forthcoming and helpful with all the problems I've had so far.

Hope to have answers soon and have everything sorted out, I'll keep updating.

Did you have the headers checked for leak(s) like Sportsguy83?

I've had a leak at the header flanges pretty much the whole time I've had the kit. It used to go away when everything warmed up but it has since gotten much worse. Grimmspeed gaskets on the way, should see soon if they fix it. I'm hoping I won't have to RMA for new headers.

I used the Grimmspeed gaskets on my install. I've only run the car for maybe 10 minutes after getting it together so far, but there don't seem to be any leaks.

Side note: PLM overpipe + Perrin motor mounts fit perfectly for me. There does not seem to be any clearance issues.

I hope it is just that. I ordered the gasket set because of what I read on this thread. Good luck

Thicker gaskets (of the same material and design) are less likely to seal a leak as they're less flexible.

The reason: AVO gaskets are better flanged than OEM gaskets.

AVO Turbo Kit Owners Topic

I took @Sportsguy83 advice when it came to gaskets and got some OEM Forester gaskets. No exhaust leak from the header flange once it was all torqued down.

Almost completely done with the turbo install. Only a few minor things left to wrap up. Just took it for its first test drive. In the rain. First and second gear are useless with the stock tires.

I had the same issue with the bumper nearly not having enough room. Even with everything pushed up to the highest adjustments, it is a tight fit. It may have been advantageous to make the intercooler just on row shorter for ease of assembly.
