Removal of the engine is not a difficult task as long as you have the correct tools, hoist, place to do it, ect... I believe he took his car to full blown if I remember correctly (could be wrong )

Ever thought of installing a water methanol injection system? Since gas is terrible and the closest e85 station is in San Jose (I live in Berkeley), I'm looking at alternatives.
Still waiting on the last couple parts but I will soon be turboed, stock block, with methanol injection.

Seems like the best solution for Norcal's crap 91 gas, but if the numbers are still too low I'll also be getting the built shortblock.

Should know in a couple weeks.

That sounds look a good plan, I'm most likely get the turbo and meth injection set up and if it doesn't meet my expectation I'll look into get a built shortblock. Which shortblock are you getting? And turbo? I know crawford makes a shortblock too. I plan on getting all these mods in the summer so hopefully by then there will be more information and tests done with each. FBM is so far..

They're right ^. Works (Sonoma) installed the turbo kit originally, but we couldn't get it tuned well locally. I sent it to fullblown for the build and drove it 2100 miles back. It really only needed a better tune, but why not

There's e85 in Hayward, I always filled up in redwood city. If that's the closest I wouldn't run it either. Haven't considered wmi as I just didn't do enough research or see enough first hand experience with this car on the kit I chose. It's plenty fun with 350whp on 91 right now

Are there any sound clips of the UEL + Turbo yet? I really want to have that UEL sound with my turbo ... and I do not believe anyone else is offering that combo?
