How much is that gonna cost ???

how long do you usually drive after the gas light comes on between switching? I've gotten pretty good about running it down to almost nothing (except for that one time where the car sputtered as i was pulling in to the gas station. )

Do you have Ecutek now? It has a fuel level monitor. I didn't know this before, but Visconti told me about it on Saturday. He said anything below a value of 10 was good to switch. I'm not sure what that equates to gallons.

As for my most recent experience, I drove 20 miles on the gas light and mine showed an Ecutek value of 11. We did 3 dyno pulls on pump gas and then tossed in 5.5 gallons of E90 (Tested manually, which is less reliable). Results? Car was very rich on E85 tune, then slightly rich on E70 tune, then adjusted again which left us thinking it was at E65'ish. My final 195WHP pull was on the adjusted E65 tune.

A lot of factors can contribute, but I've never had reliable results right after switching fuels.

Once I get it installed I am going to hit you up for some dyno time. I also need to talk to you about some EJ25 engine building.

Yep, I've got ECUtek, didn't know they had reenabled the gas gauge. I usually get mine down to 3 or 4% when i check it on the laptop though.

10% would be ~1.3 gallons of 93 still in there, you added 5? seems like that could be why you were closer to 65%. I'm guessing if you had put another 6.9 gallons of E85 in to fill it up you'd have been a good bit closer to 85%. I was planning on filling it up completely so hopefully that won't be an issue, but i won't have any way of knowing whether it actually is or not since i don't have an inline ECA from a flexfuel kit (yet).

If the 10 value represents % then yea. I'm just not sure. That was also before 3 WOT pulls, so I'm pretty sure it had less than a gallon.

I forgot to mention that I did add a couple more gallons from my second gas can after the first couple pulls, but it wasn't the full five+. It probably got around 7 gallons of ethanol added total. The gauge was at 3/4 when I left.

It matches up to the % level on the ECUtek map access, so yeah, that's the % that the sensor is reading. i'm sure it's not completely accurate though.
