Someone mentioned the tach on the FRS - yuck! That's one thing I hate about it - looks like a cheap Autozone special. But then again, I like the side "vent".
Fake performance aesthetics are automatically in the "tacky" category with me. I can appreciate the look of functional vents on some cars, but fake ones are just gross.

I also agree with the white tach. I much prefer the BRZ's all black look.

I have to agree with others that it looks a little tacky. Was cool in the 90s when I was a teenager but not so much now.

FR-S/86 have the same pearl white as the BRZ.

I thought the FRS is Whiteout (a solid white) and the BRZ is Satin Pearl white???

This thread should be about what we could take out of FT-86... I'd take red-black interior, including those bucket seats: http://www.carsuk.net/wp-content/upl...terior-Big.jpg

Orange and maybe a cheaper replaceable stereo.

Edit: I suppose I could always sell the BRZ stereo to someone that owns a different Subaru.

I'll play.

I want nothing from the FRS except for the tachometer cluster. Otherwise, the FRS to me is basically a premium BRZ with a ricer-looking front, a terrible looking fender logo, and a Scion badge.
