Oh yeah! Like when I got the 2012 STI promotional poster from the dealership after the 2013's arrived, and it was a picture of the 2011 STI hatch with a sunroof... Still never understood why Subaru made the hatch a whorish hybrid of the base sedan and Limited sedan. Although a lot of people don't like sunroofs, I think the hatch should've been offered as a base model and Limited as well.

It looks as though the 2014MY Factory Order System for the BRZ's has opened up. The only changes that I see from the Order Form is - No Premium Trim 6AT offered and No more Galaxy Blue Silica offered.

^ Dropping the AT from the Premium? That seems very very odd - maybe a mistake in the order system, been known to happen.

Sorry to hear about the Galaxy Blue getting killed, if true - I was hoping it would come up to Canada this year.

If GBS has been killed it may be the optimal time to pick up a new 2013 in that color....

Hopefully it wont be killed, as I have narrowed my colors down to GBS, DGM, or WRB. If however it is true, would assume its due to lack of sales in that color?

Well the colors are manufactured and thrown on to lots. I guess if they go by pre-order numbers then they could tell whether or not it's a popular color. However, it was a brand new color, so I don't see how they would have enough data to support that it wasn't popular.

Plus the FR-S uses the same color, so unless they're making the color exclusively for Toyota now, then it's also discontinued for the FR-S.

Depends. IF (and I hope its not) killed off for 14' and you're ok with a 13' then go for it if you want. Will potentially be more rarer of a color.

If dropped this will default my decision with WRB as I've been split between those blues recently.

Since I already have a 2013 FRS it only seems to make sense to trade for a 2014 BRZ when I do it.

True. I had to put my plans off for one in general until now, but since my target is Oct-Nov anyways, I want the 14' MY.

No premium AT regarding Canada only?

I've been waiting, and waiting, to order a 2014 BRZ in the states (held off for personal reasons)....I want an AT and do NOT want the limited.....

More opinions? What are the chances that this is true? It would be extremely upsetting if it was.

If it was true, could a AT premium be special ordered or something?.....

That honestly does not make sense for them to NOT offer an automatic for the Premium package. Just my $0.02.

Meh, fine with me to see GBS go. that will make my car more unique.

I used to have a '97 Maxima in Neptune Blue, which was a fairly similar shade to GBS. Neptune Blue was not one of the most popular colors, and they only offered it for a year or two. I was one of two Neptune Blues on the forums, and I was always the only Neptune Blue at meets, and I only saw another Neptune Blue on the road a handful of times. It was kinda neat. As long as it doesn't mean that I won't be able to ever get replacement parts in the right color, I don't mind them discontinuing Galaxy Blue Silica at all.

I'm treating these as grain of salt until announced in a service bulletin or through one of the guys here who has heard from SOA officially.

Nalc, If its discontinued (and I decide to have gone with that color), then I'll have to settle with another color it seems.
