How would you go about doing that? I definitely feel like my current slim fans are not enough, and I would like to find a better solution since I can't use the OEM fans. If someone came up with a ducted dual slim fan soultion that bolted to the radiator, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

look into the oem S blade SPAL fans. when it comes to slim fans those are beast compared to the cheapos you have now. its like having a wind tunnel in your engine bay. they cost a decent amount but worth every penny.

Spal is an excellent manufacturer. There is another brand from Italy as well that i'm now in contact with. Just as good but cheaper. I never recommend anything I haven't tried myself so... Stay tuned on this one.
In my opinion anyone adding anything that blocks the OEM air path like a fatty FMIC should be running aftermarket fans. It's a no brainer. You'll have to experiment with what type of shroud to run or no shroud. In some cases no shroud is best. When ordering the Spal fans you have a few things to consider. The height and thickness of the fan are the obvious. Push vs. Pull. Then the type of blade. Spal has MANY versions. In some cases you need to consider the altitude you plan to drive in as well. Folks in the Rockies have very thin air and requires a lot of fan to cool. In almost all cases aftermarket good fans are loud. That's why people often refer to them sounding like windstorms . OEMs use the fans that they do because they need to compromise the need and the quietness..and of course costs. For guys like us, we are the upper 10% of users who require more cooling. That's why we upgrade...Slim - Usually does not pull as much CFM but Spal has some good ones. Only try this if you're limited in space. Paddle blade - The most common replacement because they pull a lot of CFM but don't draw as much power (amperes). You can *usually* use the existing wiring system from the car. Turbine/S Blade - These are the High Output versions. Be careful with these. They tend to draw A LOT of current. I recommended wiring up an external relay for this setup. Oh! And keep your cute little fingers away from these blades. lol Something to note that most people don't understand about heat exchangers (i.e. "radiators"). Most of the aluminum radiators out there that i've seen will have an upper ceiling of cooling capacity. This means no matter how much air you pull thru it, it can only cool so much because the radiator itself is limited in how much heat you can pull from the coolant fluid. It's the law of diminishing returns with these aluminum rads. To keep the same form factor (i.e. small OEM size) you have to experiment with other metals like copper which is approx 30% better at removing heat than aluminum. You then work on tube size, then fin density, then fin pitch, then ultimately put a couple of adequate fans on there. It takes a lot of work but that's why engineering is so cool

@Sportsguy83 We are now running the AVO kit as well. We did the install in 6 hours (before Spocom) Paul @AVOturboworld made himself available for us if we ran into any problems. We did not have a problem with the over pipe as you have indicated (we will list more in our build section. But I just wanted you to know we are working on a a kit for the AVO already. Once it's we will be sending one up to Paul to check out and then make it available for everyone.
