Hahaha. If that happens, there are going to be quite a few rage threads.

You can buy a few LEDs at your local auto parts store for 20 bucks and get the same effect, no need to pay 200 bucks for it. Looks like I got my hopes up for nothing.
My 2004 two door Honda Accord had a dim orange LED that lit the shifter and center console area. It was very subtle and you wouldn't even notice it in an area with street lights. It was a nice touch. Definitely not a 200 dollar option though.

Thanks everyone for the props.
That's what I'm guessing as well.

And if they end up not releasing it yet I'll hold my anger in check. Honestly at this point it doesn't even seem that important anymore.. I'm kinda at the point of if the price is what I expect/want or less I'll end up buying the car based on a test drive and if it's not I already have cars in the back of my mind to buy instead..

Hahaha. I know. I'm just giving you a hard time since you said we would know pricing on 3/1 and then on Monday 3/5. I really hope you are right with this guess.

The 3/1 was based on them being sold orders per that dealer, which turned out to be inaccurate. My point then was if you had to sign a contract (a sold order) than you had to have pricing or the contract was pointless, hence how no one signed a sold order :P

I don't remember anything about 3/5 though? What happened then?

I wouldn't appose to getting illumination so if I decide to get them I would go and get some aftermarket led's as you said. It wouldn't hurt to have some extra lightning when a passenger drops something on the floor. But not nothing overly flamboyant like something out of a F&F movie.

Also the subs that are offered through the dealer are usually not as good as the ones that I could buy and install myself.

Gotta do what I gotta do in order to save some damn money.

Maybe it wasn't you, but I thought you mentioned your dealer said there would be more info/pricing on "Monday 3/5." Maybe it wasn't you? Not that it really matters.

I hope they release the STi catalog soon

For now I want the rear diffuser, ambient lighting and auto-dimming mirror w/ Homelink. And I hope they release a carbon fiber overlay for the silver dash trim like they show in the JDM catalog.
