You are correct. Standard anyways fogs are an option.

fog lights are an option on the premium, but the led driving light strips above it are standard on both trims...

Looks like the two things I'm interested in do not have prices, the fog lamps and the rear diffuser.

I see no short shifter on there.

Short shifter comes standard?

factory short shifters never give you the true "short-throw feel" as aftermarket units...

I'm sure they will say a short shifter is standard, but at some point they will offer a real short shifter as well. They are always dealer installed though and not port installed which is what that options list is.

Most aftermarket ones are just a rod, sometimes of a bit adjustable. They are junk compared to properly designed complete short-throw linkage. On Subaru 6mt (not brz one) factory STI short shifter is well worth the cost.

when i said factory, i meant stock... like in this case, when the brochure reads something like:

"sporty short-throw 6 speed transmission"

that's just plain marketing...

and you have to get a legit aftermarket "kit," not just a rod or one of those adapters that you bolt on...

Gah! This thread got posted on the main page, and at first glance I saw "prices released" and got really excited. Talk about a let down hah.

Mwuahahaha!

it's ok though, I am somewhat expecting to see prices on Thursday with the launch of the BRZ website. They can't launch the website without prices, since prices were built into the home page of the website we saw, in a very central way.

Thanks everyone for the props.

Just don't go crazy when the site is launched Thursday with "MSRP*".

"*MSRP will be released at a later date"
