I would say mine works reasonably well while the car is moving and barely works while idling for long periods or in traffic. I agree that the fans attempting to pull air through a thicker radiator doesn't help, nor do the aftermarket thin fans the Full Blown kit comes with.

My ac always felt mediocre too. Since I do a lot of truck and trailer ac and refrigeration I stuck some gauges on my frs round beginning of the summer. The high side Is very jumpy whch I dnt like but I think its jus the type of compressor we have. I shot alil extra freon in. Helped it cool better even on the hot days. Check ur freon, mass production always has its mistakes

I know this sounds stupid but I drove around for a day with what I thought was a shitty air conditioner. Then I noticed I didn't have the middle button pressed in on the left circular control and viola. I think it's the "circulation" button.

Not well as a matter of fact. I just assumed it was another disapointing underdeveloped feature that got sacrificed in the name of the amazing handling.

Any ideas what vent temperature should be.

Mine gets very cold very fast. Jumped into the car today with a friend when it was about +30C, and the very first thing out of his mouth was "the AC is awesome in your car".

Mine doesn't seem to be working very well lately.

Joking aside, it does work better than all of my previous BMWs but not nearly as well as most American vehicles. The stock fans don't seem to pull enough air through the a/c condenser when sitting still but the a/c is adequate while moving.

The FRS does as well. It's on the MPG button/display cycle.

Asphalt runs pretty hot. Silver is a lot more reflective of heat. On the other hand it warms up quickly in the sun in winter.

General rule of thumb for A/C units is the air coming out should be at least 20 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature at max settings.

Doesn't really matter what color your car is when it's 110+ outside*

*Yes there is a measurable difference, mountains from molehills people.

I think that people in arizona should build houses that go underground, like the houses on Tatooine, or like hobbits.
