Yeah, I feel you on that. I consider my drive to work as some peaceful time to myself. Cruise and tunes.. I don't think I'd mind cutting down the commute though. Especially after work when I just want to get home..

Here in Dallas, I commute 5 days a week in the city and get ~25-27 depending on how I drive. Add in some highway and I get about 31. Can't complain at all.

Mostly city (flat, low traffic), just passed 1000 miles, including some track time (heck ya), and averaging 25.8mpg. I have been driving it pretty hard though! Will calm down… eventually! :p

I was getting 38mpg for about 1/4 of tank a few weeks ago. 2 people in the car 60 degrees outside, windows up, AC off, 55-60mph. With a little more effort and patience i could have probably seen 39 or 40, but that would have been pushing it.

Visconti tune, K&N CAI, Borla header back.

I got 24.4 mpg(85% city/15% highway) on the first tank i started keeping track, but that is my first tank of being able to have some fun after the break in period. This next tank I am seeing how high the mpg I can get with mixing in a little fun here and there.

I average about 31-33mpg going about 65-75 in Houston. All I have is a Greddy Intake.

Edit: Before my intake I was about 29-30mpg crazy uhh? I drive semi spiritedly.

I'm averaging about 8.2L/100km (close to 29 mpg) doing 95% city driving.
Only 2500 km on the odometer, and I'm not driving it like a grandma either. You should see the condition my back tires are in already.

When my commute was 3.5 miles of 50/50 city/hwy, I would see about 29 mpg during the summer and only about 25 during the winter (damn drive was too short for the car to fully warm up). Now my commute is 38 miles at 10/90 city/hwy and I'm seeing 33-34 mpg this summer.

I have a spreadsheet just like this. I also keep note of the computer indicated mpg to track error between calculated and car computer.

Just picked up my Limited 6MT - my first tank averaged 34.4 mpg, 35.0 indicated. Still only at 700 miles on the odo. From what I remember on my previous new cars, mpg increased significantly over the first few tanks. I knew the brz would get good mpg but this is exceeding expectations.

Hmm, I guess trying to learn how to drive a manual really effected my mileage. I shift at 3500rpms. at 468 miles. I drive at night to work. Stop at maybe 3 lights and not usually any traffic out. Completely stock though

First tank, Was a lot of stop and go in a parking lot and a dead street at 0530 when I got off work. 25.3MPG (hand figured)

Second tank, 27.1 (hand figured)
