I struggled to work out rear offset because of the massive bulge of the tire. Worked out just right though

Had to do some caliper shaving because of the step in the barrel. We have custom Weld wheels in 15" that bolt right up though. Different barrel step design

How meaty of a tire can I go with stock suspension and wheels that are 18x8.5 +42 offset?

I'd like to weigh my options for tires before my wheels come in, so I can plan accordingly.

Any help is appreciated!

i wouldn't go bigger than a 245 for strut clearance purposes up front. in the rear you can go bigger if you want though i think

i think in the front that offset is too high, the rear might be okay because of the width.

why are you doing with such a massive rim size, you can fit a 275 better with a 9.5 +40 or +38

Because I just bought a set of Vossen cvt 19x8.5 and 19x10 so I'm trying to buy tires. Tire rack is back ordered on the tire I want in a 265/30 so I figured why not go wider with a 275/30 just trying to see if it fits before I order them.

Oh here's the setup
Rim: vossen cvt
Front: 19x8.5 +45 tire 235/35
Rear: 19x10 +50 tire 275/35

Will it fit without issues?

why not a 245 in the front? 235/35 is like no sidewall and on an 8.5 i don't think thats enough rubber personally.

hm, i know for fact 18x10 +45/+42 fits no issues. i think you will be okay, MAYBE might need a 5mm spacer, but i honestly do not know. also depends on the type of tire you're doing.

I was going for 235/40 on all four. Is that sidewall fine? Your advice matters, so any help is appreciated!
