I wanted to ask a similar question in this thread. Are there any WRB or GBS owners that wished they had the other choice of blue (WRB for GBS owners and GBS for WRB owners)?

Reason I'm asking is I'm torn between GBS and WRB. I've had WRB as my 1st choice for a while, but recently GBS has come into play due to it being less flashy and gives a different profile. On the fence.

Anyways...just curious.

i actually had the same dilemma. on any other car, i prefer the darker blue. with a subaru, however, there is just something so classic with the WRB. i ended up paying $500 extra and waiting an extra month to get one, and have never looked back. i love it

WRB was my first choice, and I'm very pleased to have WRB. I have absolutely no remorse.

I don't like blue cars (normally) so I was torn between DGM and CBS. I had seen a WRB in person and wasn't too excited about it: it felt too "flashy". I then saw a few threads with the GBS and fell in love with it. Luckily, the only dealer in a 200 miles radius had one coming in and I ordered it before even seeing it in real life. I have had a car for a bit over a week now and couldn't love this color any more. It's got presence and "sparkle" (it's shiny) without being too... flamboyant! :P

I wanted white, dealer took $1k off the silver one they had. No white ones in the state at the time so I took the silver and have been happy with it. Silver was my second choice anyway but I didnt tell the dealer that.

I waited 6 months for my pre-ordered Crystal Black Silica. Timing was too perfect for it once it arrived.

I wish I was the type of person that didn't care about color, but I plan way too much and care too much about how my ride will be perceived. I'm against Satin White Pearl mostly because it's harder to paint-match properly and therefore more expensive.

I almost went with Dark Gray Metallic, but since I'd already owned it on my 2008 Forester and 2011 WRX, I decided to give it a break. hahaha

I really would've liked Hot Lava or a true white.

And that's just colors I'd like to see that I remember off the top of my head.

In that case, I would really love to see Midori Green and Dark Amethyst purple, both from Honda Civic (EK), on these cars.

I did not care much (but somewhat) about color on my previous cars, but my BRZ had to be WRB. I had to wait 4 months to get it. As someone said earlier “Life is too short to pick your second favorite color.”
