I got the DGM but had buyers remorse once I saw a WRB BRZ in person. The pictures didn't do it justice

I still havent seen a wrb in person, have been working in the boonies for a while, is it the wrb on the 04-06 wrx/sti, seems like a bit darker with less pearl, or the wrb they used on some of the more recent wrx/sti closer to the 22B wrb?

I forget where the idea originally came from. I know red is synonymous with sports car, but to me orange was synonymous with exotic sports car. It's just how it was. So I kept telling myself, eventually I would own a sports car, eventually I would own an orange sports car. But, I never took myself very seriously if I'm honest. They were all manuals (sorry guys, wanted an AT) or very tiny (I'm 6'3") and very expensive (wouldn't own one until later in life).

But the FR-S had the most amazing timing and showed up right when I wanted to buy a new car. And as soon as I saw that it came in orange, I knew what color I needed. I will say, I flip-flopped about it for a while. I almost got black, Raven was too good to pass up (see username), I would've put NVRMOR or NVRMRE on the license plate. Almost got asphalt because my last car was dark grey. But I kept coming back to hot lava. I just couldn't say no.

That's wrong on multiple levels. Check the paint codes.

Furthermore, Firestorm is also not available to BRZ's.

I just went and put a sold sign in my Ultramarine today at the dealership (have to wait until Tuesday or wednesday for all the upgrades like exhaust and intake to be installed). I told them I wouldn't settle for anything but an Ultramarine, and would have done the same if I went to Subaru instead. I wouldn't settle for anything but a WRB. It's not that I had to have a blue car, but the only other colour I would want is Firestorm (my dad's SUV is red, so no), which was second to Ultramarine, or the Whiteout (my mom's car is white, so no) so I had to pick something that would look different on the driveway haha. Either way, I got what I wanted and didn't settle for anything less.

Just because Canada gets screwed with only 4 colours doesn't mean as you originally stated "all the...Ultramarine BRZ's just fell off a boat on the way out of Japan" as there are plenty of them rolling around just across the border to the south. They also have "Firestorm" BRZ's. You could always import one.

I was originally looking for a dark color; raven or asphalt. Went into the dealership and all they had was a pearl one. Test drove it and gel in love. I am not obsessed over her haha

I wanted WRB since seeing the BRZ STI concept at the LA Auto Show 2011.

I unfortunately totalled my 05 Civic EX 3 weeks ago, insurance gave me $8K for it, I was in desperate need for a car. I searched for a week while the insurance check was being processed. I was willing to settle for an FR-S in Raven or Whiteout if I couldn't find a WRB BRZ. I got incredibly lucky and found one at Irvine Subaru, I called got $800 off the asking price and made a deposit over the phone. I've had my BRZ for a week now and I love it so damn much, still can't believe I get to drive it everyday.

Then it started looking very "meh" (to me) after seeing some of them, and decided to go with CBS. After seeing a few (awesome) build pictures with it, I stumbled across a thread of a build of a GBS. I immediately fell in love. That was about the same time I decided to actually order one. Went to the dealer today and they have one coming in in about 10 days. I reserved it... #TeamGBS
