Knew the color I wanted and called different dealerships till I found the exact package I wanted. Only had to travel from DC to Boston for it!

I was set on white. Got an offer I couldn't refuse on a black one (my second choice) and took it. I don't regret it by any means. From 100ft I LOVE the black, much more than the white. From 2ft, I really wish I had white. I HATE taking care of a black car!

Drove 6 hours just to see the WRB in person. Had no plans on buying was going to wait for the 2014 model, but loved the color so much went ahead and bought it. That was back in November, been happy ever since.

Drove 2 hours to get my WRB. A small part of me wish I would have went with silver because it is so much easier to keep clean and doesn't show the scratches as easily. But if I had went with it I'm sure I'd be saying I should have gone with WRB because it sure does look good when clean.

Didn't pick it, just turns out it was a white one that they had. Found out later that there was also an ultramarine available, but I think I made the right choice.

That all depends on your definition of clean. I'm the type that notices everything so my silver BRZ it isn't any easier to keep clean than my black TT is.

As for the original post, the 2nd closest dealer to my house (45 minutes) had the color I wanted in stock. I wanted silver or red, I would have waited if one of them wasn't available.

I didn't like any of the subaru colors. It's one of the main reasons I got the FRS.

Dat hot lava.

I knew I wanted white or black. Originally was going to buy a white FRS but the dealer played around with the price at the last minute. I wound up buying a Crystal Black Silica BRZ through Heuberger in Colorado Springs. So glad the Scion dealer tried to screw me now. I love the black, and the extra features in the BRZ... not to mention the awesome price I wound up getting through Clint at Heuberger. CBS might be more of a pain to keep clean but it looks so much better to me when it is clean and waxed.

I preordered so yes, I did. However ask me up to the final day and I'd have been like...Maybe I should have picked DGM or LR ... but now that I have my SWP BRZ - I couldn't be happier, so stunning and perfect

I ordered my favorite color, red. It was worth waiting almost 4 months imo. Never get anything 2nd on your list if the first is obtainable.
