Sorry for reviving this from a year ago, but I just changed my SC oil and I wanted to check in with some other folks to see if this makes sense - knowing that a full 4oz bottle overflows the charger (as Gem found out for us), I was very cautious about filling it slowly and constantly checking. Once I got it to halfway on the hatchmarks, I closed it up and let the engine run for about 10-15 minutes, checked it again, and it was still at the halfway mark. I then looked at the bottle and noticed I have probably 1/3 to 2/5 of the bottle remaining. That sounds like I didn't put enough in it, but I'd rather have less than more at this point. What do you guys think?

I just replaced my vortech oil yesterday and ended up with the same result. Little more than 1/2 way filled on the dip stick after 10 miles. I have about 1/3 left in the bottle. I'll continue to check every 2 weeks to make sure it doesnt drop below.

I just leave one bottle at the proper point. Then when I change I use a new bottle and use the old one as reference easy to measure that way.

Yeah that looks to be about where my bottle is at. I kept filling until the marker just went past halfway on the crosshatched area.
