I enjoy a MT, however, I live in Southern California. The commute is an hour long with slow traffic. I am thankful they made an automatic! I'm not sure I would have bought this if it was manual only. As I purchased this primarily do to the appearance and general performance characteristics of the car. Oh, and if it would have been a general automatic, I wouldn't have purchased it! I wouldn't even consider it! This is an exceptional automatic (IMHO). I realized I don't race, and didn't buy this car to race. This has plenty of power to get in trouble. I just sold my 13 second, autocross prepped 4-5k in suspension 5.0 mustang a few years ago. This car was originally automatic and I spent at least 4k converting it to stick shift. I loved manual transmissions that much... It also had 4.10 gears. This automatic was so advanced and shifted so firm and precise I couldn't resist. After one test drive in the auto I was sold. This is fast enough...for a street car, especially when enforcement is higher than ever...

It matters because many of us are Toyota or Honda people. We don't have experience with the quirks of owning a Subaru, especially a high performance Subaru. I think many of us myself included have a lot to learn about being a Subaru owner even though we bought Scion's.

I think the first thing WRX/STI owners do is buy a tune not for power but reliability, this is new to Toyota guys. Its not a big deal but a learning curve.

Look its not a big deal, all cars have quirks and issues. We can learn a lot from Subaru entusiasts.

Yo man, I checked the car and other stuff I have like my Apple products and American Flag. It's stamped Made in China. Does that mean China owns America and all the stuff I own? lol

Deal with it guys, Subaru is Toyota's B&TCH, just like how Apple and many companies use China to cut costs, hahhahaa, plus they own Subaru, the only difference is between the twin is that the FR-S/GT86 drives better (more oversteer, more comfortably tuned with softer front suspension, a better look black interior dash instead of the WTF silver on the BRZ and a more aggressive front grill.)
