Same thing happened in my jeep wrangler with my wife's IP5. Thought it was the jeep since the build quality isn't the greatest with some of those things.

I have the S4 and I like it. Personally I think the only plus side to the Iphone is it's metal body but that's where the good part ends. The HTC One is basically an Android powered Iphone, metal body with no SD card slots/no expandable memory.

Its USB... Doesnt matter if its lightning, usb, micro usb, whatever on the other end..... Theres no reason a lightning would get stuck and not the other 100 options

Incorrect. The OP Posted a link to Apple which explains the root of the issue.

My lightning cable did this, so I bought another cable from AT&T. No more issues.

This has happened to me once last month; although I was able to gently wiggled the plug out. It hasnt happened to me since. If you just gently pull the plug up and out it should come out without a problem.

Yes you need to that. and you'll have to stop the car if you want the message to show up. they wont let you read the message when your driving(safety reason) but what I don't like about it is that it gets annoying something when you have a lot of message poping up and you can't close all of them at once, instead you have to close it one by one and it'll repeat the saying "you have a new message". and beside you can't reply with it atm so yeah I disabled
