Don't change the bov. Tial makes probably the best bov out. The do what they are suppose to and don't tend leak. This kit seems like it is very well put together as far as craftsmanship and components use.

I have been talking to FA20club about FI. I would go with this kit hands down if this wasn't my daily driver. I just don't need to take a chance in this becoming like my Evo or previous vehicles. So I will be going a slightly different route. Best of luck and tear up the streets/tracks of Florida

It's not supposed to sound like that. Take the vacuum line off of the BOV and you'll have the same sound, because your BOV isn't opening. That's what compressor surge sounds like.

So that flutter sound that WRC cars make (because they dont have BOVs) is what a TiAL BOV is supposed to sound like... Got it. Rofl.

up your spring pressure and youll see it does change. on the cars running 9 psi springs there isnt any fluctuation but we wanted the highest pressure for down the line and to keep the valve shut at idle

Send a message via AIM to King Tut
I will add that I have the same BOV, and mine does not sound like that. I have the 11 psi spring with a couple washers in it to keep it closed at idle and high vacuum situations.

I understand that. You chose a spring pressure that is too high for the application because someone somewhere might run more boost. That's fine.

That sound is still compressor surge. Maybe the valve is reacting too slow because of the high spring pressure, maybe it's partially opening and not fully allowing the pressure to vent.

Point is, a properly set up TiAL valve doesn't always sound like George Jetsons morning commute.

Well when u are are down and around my area let me know and ill
Give you a ride maybe its the sound quality because I've done alot of
Pulls and everything and the car works fine! Lol I pulled off the line to the bov when I was organizing the vacuum routes and I can tell you this sound and the sound off compressor surge was VERY different
