Those look so much better than the ones I had on there. I actually just peeled off the stickers and now they are just flat blank caps which look great. I don't really feel the need to advertise to Rota.
I'm actually starting to consider getting these. http://cdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp/minka...t=f973ac050db5 It's so much money but they look so legit!

Taillights and exhaust are on. Car is retuned. It's basically silent at low throttle and screams bloody murder at full throttle...not sure how I feel about that but time will tell. Exhaust made throttle response a lot better and got rid of the dip at the end of the power band. Car is now at 232whp coming from a 150 which equals out to 308 at the flywheel. The torque dip is gone so it reaches peak at about 6k and stays up there. I'll scan the dyno some time this week and get more pics up of the car now that its done once it's clean and pretty.

Have a few sound clips now from the outside:
[ame]http://youtu.be/qNFVFH_rSC4[/ame] My friend is driving my car for the first time here so that's why he's having trouble backing it out. [ame]http://youtu.be/jEQ2mlAHqvA[/ame]

All the Grimmspeed products have been installed now for 86fest including: Strut bar, license relocater, master cylinder brace, battery tie down, oil cap, and hood struts. Also got a shark fin installed and LED's running in the side markers and tail lights.
I should get some good photos of the car this weekend. Here's the updated mod list: Making it Sexy: Not much was needed here as the car is just plain sexy stock. - TOMS Taillights - Traded trunk with FR-S to get rid of the wing - White Side Markers w/ White LEDs - VIS Carbon Fiber Fender Flares (Wanted to be distinctive) - Tint front to back - White LEDs for License Plate - GrimmSpeed License Plate Relocation Kit - GrimmSpeed FT86 Oil Cap - GrimmSpeed Battery Tie Down - GrimmSpeed Hood Struts - Beat-Sonic Shark Fin Antenna What I'm Riding On: I wanted my car to look good but I don't need the lightest or the most expensive wheels. Of course I'd like TE37s but I wanted to put the cost elsewhere. - Rota Grid Hyperblack 18" Staggered 8.5"/9.5" - BF Goodrich KDW 2 Not Crashing: I needed my car to stop. - Stoptech Front BBK - GrimmSpeed Master Cylinder Brace How it Rides: I didn't need coilovers for the street. Plain and simple I wanted just a slightly stiffer ride, get rid of the body roll, and lowered just enough to close the fender gap. (BTW, the ride is absolutely perfect with this setup for me) - Racecomp Yellow Springs with bump stops - Racecomp Sway Bar set - Whiteline Com-C Strut Mounts - Whiteline Reach Camber Kit - Whiteline Rear Crossmember Bushing - GrimmSpeed Strut Tower Brace Making it Bump: Stock sound system is terrible. TERRIBLE. So I fixed it. - Alpine SP60c Speakers in the front - JL XD700 5 Channel Amp under the seat - JL Sub Controller mounted under the steering wheel column. - JL Stealth Box - Lots and lots and lots of Hushmat (no more rattles anywhere) Making it Fly: My goal wasn't tons of power but reliable power. I've had powerful turbo cars and I didn't need to jump from 150hp to 500hp in the middle of a turn so I felt a supercharger fit my needs for power and reliability. I liked the HKS kit over the Vortech for the torque curve (although both are great). - HKS Supercharger Kit - Deatschwerks Fuel Injector Kit (700cc) - Deatschwerks Fuel Pump - Perrin Oil Cooler (Last thing I want is to overheat) - ECUTEK Tuned - ACT Clutch - ACT Lightweight Flywheel - Revworks UEL Header - Perrin Overpipe - Perring Front Pipe with High Flow Cat - Nvidia Q300 Exhaust And a quick shot of the engine bay.

Proper picture of my engine bay thanks to Import Addicts:
![]() Think it needs an air/oil separator next and maybe a bit of dressing.

Nice job, looking forward to the progress with the HKS unit, I haven't seen a whole lot of guys running their kit yet.

@Pneub Since it's been about 2 months since your last update, I'm interested in how the HKS unit is running. Did you ever run it with the F-Con? Or did you skip it entirely.
I'm hoping to run F-Con to split up the purchases so my wallet doesn't take a gigantic hit. |

Thanks! Final touches are going in now. Still waiting to get some professional shots done. Hoping for next month. Putting in my guage http://www.p3cars.com/subaru-brz-sci...tal-interface/ and my air oil separator next week http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Cusc...-Oil-Separator.
Besides upping the boost to 11 or 12 I'm not sure if there's anything left to do.

Cusco Air/Oil separator and P3Cars Vent Gauge now installed
![]() ![]() The gauge may be one of the nicest products I've put into the car. It works and fits like it should have come stock. If only the MAP sensor would read the boost correct it would be perfect.
