Question Header and Exhaust

Going with the following header and exhaust setup:
JDL catless UEL
JDL 2.5" overpipe
JDL 2.5" catted/resonated frontpipe
ARK DT-S

Would there be any benefit to going with a 3" overpipe and frontpipe?

For the 210? No not really

Bigger exhaust will always allow better flow but you won't notice anything on the 210

The 335 is a bit different hence why I'm looking at 3" exhaust options

Not sure who told you that but it's wrong. 335 pipe is different towards the charger as the elbow sits further back in the engine bay due to the larger design of the charger

Not on about 3" intakes. I'm on about 3" exhausts

I had a belt snap on me recently and thought it was due my belt not being swapped to the shorter length that is recommended when upgrading pulleys. I ordered the gates K061010HD per recommendation here and was unableto fit it. I had friend hold the tensioner down with a breaker bar, and evenwith both hands stretching the belt, I could not get it over the pulley.
I have a 69mm pulley with a 70mm idler. Even if I wasable to somehow stretch the belt over, it just feels as though the tension would allow for no play whatsoever.

I just re installed a spare k061015 I had laying around, and it does feel like the belt is a bit looser than what would be ideal. Any thoughts?

Two thoughts I had:
1) Use K061015, 69mm pulley, but swap idler pulley to75mm.
2) Find a belt length that is sized between the K061015and K061010

I will be running my 335 with a 2.5` exhaust but was asking to know if there would be benefit or if it is just a waste due to bottleneck ING. Everything I've read has stated 2.5*is all that is necessary for a Supercharger unless going for really high output otherwise the engine will actually degrade in perfect with 3'
3' is mainly for turbo applications

I had a 2.5" system which got damaged just after the install of my 335 so I thought I might as well upgrade seeing as I need to replace half the system

Hi All,

We're pleased to announce our latest and final update to our Innovate/Sprintex tunes for the 210 blowers, version 9.0.

This version builds on 8.83 and offers the following improvements:

Increased top end power.
Closed loop fuel correction at WOT conditions, taken from our Flash & Go tunes.

This will be the last update we offer for the Innovate kits. As we've done in the past with our 8.65 and 8.83 releases, updates to 9.0 will be a $65 service fee for existing customers.

If you're interested in receiving this update, please email me directly at sales@delicioustuning.com.com

Sincerely,

Zach

I'm interested in hearing more about the latest tune, what type of power increase at the top end are you expecting?

Also, why is this the final tune for you guys? I've had good luck with you guys and would like to know why you're pulling support for this SC.
PM sent

Over 8.83, about 5-7whp more on top. Over 8.65, a bit more than 10whp gained up top.

We're very happy with where the tune is at this point. Coupled with our shop car removing its Innovate kit in preparation for something a bit more exciting, we decided it was a good stopping point that we were more than satisfied with.

Also, pm responded.

Sincerely,

Zach

If I end up going 3" overpipe/frontpipe, will the 2.5" exhaust and midpipe just quiet things down a bit, especially being the ARK with additional resonators? Or will I want to go with something like the Perrin 3" to finish? I'm okay with fairly loud, just not WAILING loud.

No point in having half a system with 3" and the other half 2.5"

I'm opting for a resonated catback and resonated front pipe to keep things quiet-ish

Makes sense. Looks like I will take the same route. Doesn't seem to be too many 3 inch exhaust options. I'm looking at Perrin and Nameless now. How do you like the Perrin?

Nameless haven't got back to me about any of my enquiries over the last few days. Won't be purchasing any of their products then!

I don't have a Perrin...

With the following parts you can be well above the 300whp mark (315-320whp) on a DynoJet Dyno.

Airaid Cold Air Intake (or at minimum a panel filter)
Delicious Tuning Flex Fuel Kit (on E85)
Delicious Tuning 69mm Pulley
Delicious Tuning 9.00 Tune
Header Back Exhaust System

We have a write up in D Sport Magazine (November 2014) on a slightly older tune, but with the new tune you can expect a bit more.

Cheers,
William Knose
