I believe you have to syringe the old oil out.

Or just take it off, flip it upside down and dump that shit out

I wonder if you can use an extractor like this:

Here is what they say in the install manual:

7.2.2 Replace Gear Oil

• Remove the Gear Oil Dipstick.

• Using a syringe to draw out the old gear oil, drain the supercharger’s gearbox.

• Using Redline 75W90 NS Gear Oil or equivalent fill with exactly 5.31 oz (157 mil.)

• Check oil level with dipstick.

Good call. Went ahead and grabbed some logs and sent them to bill to review. Took it easy on this set until I hear from him everything looked safe.

Some of the answers to the below:

No need to change the SC oil for 40k miles or so, but check it. It DOES burn up a little with time, and this is somewhat normal for the SC. Use fluid as per the owners manual (redline 90 IIRC). Use a syringe with a tube to suck the old fluid out and put in the new fluid. DO NOT overfill.

You can run the 75 on 93 non-intercooled. But I recommend the 72.5 for that reason. It is a nice in between step and the Raceseng pulleys are readily available and fairly cheap. Our tunes scale with no re-tune for the pulleys.

Clutch: about 225 tq you will start to have issues. You are unlikely to hit this on pump gas intercooled or non. E85 in the cold weather...different story.

So a 70mm with the "works" yes, about 2-3k all said and done with labor. 72.5 pulley will have 50% of the gains for about $100. So well worth it. Takes about 5 minutes to swap pulleys with hand tools.

If I make the jump to the 70mm, sounds like I will need:
-Stronger clutch installed (like act streetlight flywheel and street clutch)
-Intercooler
-70mm pully
-I may also do a meth injection
-I don't want to bother with e85 yet
This means I'll be spending around $2.5k without meth (parts and labor [intercooler 1200, clutch/flywheel $566, clutch install $600, retune $200]) and over $3.5k with meth.

With all that, is the supercharger or engine expected to have a shorter lifespan? I don't want to have the car fail on me in a few years because I overstressed the charger or engine. I want this car to last. I do a few track days a year. I have most all of the less expensive supporting mods like oil cooler as you'll see in my build thread.

Would I need to change the supercharger oil more frequently that recommended by innovate?

Depending on my tax return I may get some or all of this stuff. My guess without looking at taxes is probably I'll only be able to get the intercooler.

I know you aren't the one that tuned my car, but how safe would you say it would be to do what you mentioned and just buy the 72.5mm pulley and slap it on without doing anything else? If the tune wasn't exactly correct what would I notice when driving?

It'll be down to whether the map is setup to be able to calculate the extra loading caused by the extra airflow. If a map is load restricted, you could have issues once the airflow exceeds the capped values. I'd assume most tunes aren't limited at the ceiling of the 75mm pulley and I think most timing and fuelling would carry across quite easily.

I guess my point is, ask your tuner or find out a way of checking the maps.

I wish I could just poll this thread instead of the whole forum but is the supercharger whine (which seems pretty loud on his system) more cool or annoying?

Yes a 3" exhaust will work well with the Innovate. Get a boost gauge and a wideband gauge.
