I've just replaced plugs and coil pack on cylinder 1.
Charger is now using water I'm topping up after every drive for 3 days now. Looked everywhere can't find a leak.

Any suggestions?

Remove the SC so you can get a good look at the intercooler, run the pump, and take a look.

Sorry to hear this man. Good luck.

I'm jealous. I really want the whole setup and cant yet. I look forward to hearing how it goes and how it changes after the upgrade.

I'll be sure to post impressions and dynos as soon as I'm able to get it installed. The tune is the only thing holding me back right now.

EDIT: doh, forgot i still need catch cans. i wonder if radium has finished up their 86 kit yet. last i heard it was due in january sometime.

Does anyone have any tips on the intercooler install? I've been reading some issues with lose connections and leaks. Just wondering what the latest lessons learned are? I plan to order mine shortly after the new year. I just got some aesthetic stuff on order so will put that stuff on first.

Feel free to come help with mine if you'd like

From what I'm reading, it's best to replace the plastic fittings on the back of the manifold with metal ones. Someone else has a post on which ones they used. I went ahead and ordered these fittings from Amazon, assuming they will fit:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007IIXQ9E/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1"]SRP 90 Degree Barb Fitting 1/4" Pipe to 1/4" Hose - 22906 : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame]

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CNB8MO/ref=oh_details_o05_s02_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1"]Earl's 984206 Blue Anodized Aluminum 90-Degree 3/8" Hose Barb to 1/4" NPT Male Elbow : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame]

Interested to hear what other tips people chime in with.

Is a dual catch can setup recommended for this kit with IC? or is a single catch can sufficient?

Those plastic fittings are BSPT. I've been working on getting my intercooler in over the last week and will be replacing the 2 plastic fittings with new ones without the 90degree bend.

To quote an email I got from Innovate on this:

"The plastice fitting specs are the following brake booster or closest to passenger side is a 1/4BSPT to 10mm barbed 90deg fitting, the EVAP or closest to the drivers side is a 1/4BSPT to 8mm barbed 90deg fitting. If you choose to replace please make sure that the thread specs are replicated as severe damage will occur to threads on the casting if failure to do so."
