Did you resolve your issues? Was it the plastic elbows causing problems?

Yeah. In fact this seems to be a little more common of a problem we are seeing on a lot of the Innovate Supercharger blower kits. So it is good to check them after installation as suggested by Sprintex.

So far we have been able to make about 385 whp in stock DI and PI systems on E85. With EcuTeK I am able to accomplish this and it would not be possible with any other tuning solution.

So with the standard Innovate charger, intercooler, full exhaust, 69mm pulley and whatever mods you have, it can be tuned on stock injectors and the stock fuel pump. Though I usually do recommend an upgraded pump.

Cheers,

It is getting very close with the current setup, just a little more refining is needed to dial it in. Though it will require the folllowing.

Headers such as PPE or something equal length
Improved intake on Supercharger
Full exhaust system
69mm Pulley and Intercooler
And of course E85.

I believe with this setup it can get really close along with a massive powerband due to the twin screw design. Where it lacks in power it makes up in a powerband.

Cheers,
William Knose

i already got the exhaust. was thinking perrins new MAF 3" intake. I'm waiting to see it pulled off on 93 octane. i am very anti e85, seen to many issues and bad gas around here to risk it

FlexFuel, great solution. Get a bad tank of gas (too much 91 octane or whatever) and it it adjusts accordingly. Great solution, probably why GM and other manufacturers offer it.

Tuned quite a few cars on it now, it is a great option.

I do not think the 3" intake will help to much but it might.

William Knose

So what is happening exactly? Enough un-metered air is getting in past those elbows and causing issues with fueling?

Correct. There is definitely enough air bypassing the MAF sensor in turn causing the car to run rough under idle and partial throttle. We have also seen a loss in power across the powerband from this.

So it is important to recheck those fittings and make sure they are secure. If you feel they are loose then please apply teflon tape to the threaded ended to seal in better with the intake plenum on the back of the supercharger.

Cheers,
William Knose

Mine are loose, guess its time to take them out and put teflon on them.

Anyone who has done this with the the supercharger in place - best way to pull them off? take off the whole supercharger from the manifold, or can we just remove the elbow on the back?

I think that with a smaller pulley, and fine tuning, i'll be breaking 300 with this blower. Just need to get the right tune, and ensure that everything is working in concert. Just need some more work before I can attempt it. New axles (just CYA, to be safe), and I'll be there. Without E85, too.

I don't mean to post w/o being an owner but, this is the only active inno thread it seems (I actively follow.)

My question is, "Is there any information on the larger blower that was shown a while back from presumed gains or an eta?"

Thanks~
