Well winter is coming so I wouldnt be too worried for now, ambient temps are in the 60s. I was very happy with the way the car pulled on e85 with the 75mm pulley so the 70mm with pump would still be great.

change in weather

The weather is starting to cool off where I live and my car seems much happier. On 91 octane with no intercooler, the innovate sc on my car was "twitchy". As a noob, this was unexpected.

I'm looking forward to the cooler weather in Portland next week as well. IATs should be lower. Car should feel better. Of course, I haven't driven it much since the blower has been on.

Hmn dammit. Weather here is average 80's year long. I was hoping for the car to feel like it came OEM w/ supercharger. I hate twitchy

Here in Perth West Aus we're so far behind that we only got our first E85 pump about 2 months ago. So far we have 2 pumps .

So no, no E85. I'm running 98RON, which would be 93AKI over in the US. I did ask the tuner about running on 95RON/91AKI he said it shouldn't be a problem on the tune I'm on, obviously i might lose a bit of power.

Once E85 becomes more available i will be tuning it on that.

Drove her home in 60Degree F last night, with the intercooler the car felt real close to OEM with a lot more power.

There is NO way you will ever get away without IC and 91 Oct in Puerto Rico, just no way possible.

Specifically when your main goal is for it to be a reliable FI upgrade.

Don't despair, just plan on getting the intercooler. As for "came oem", what the car came with is a giant annoying torque dips smack in the middle of the rpm range. The innovate SC is a great cure for that problem IMHO.

Has anyone fitted a tower strut brace which fits over the Innovate SC.

My Tanabe won't go due to the water bottle for the intercooler.

Thanks

My thought would be a small vacuum leak somewhere. Go around the blower and accessories spraying some starter fluid noting any rpm changes.
