Flex Fuel Issue going FI

I'd like to know from the Kraftwerks R&D team(gsmii or Kraftwerks) if they have formulated a solution for the lean fuel/air that occurs when exiting corners in any FI setup over 250whp on our platform due to the make of the fuel tank having a dip, causing power to be lost while cornering and stalling at other times? Do you see the need for a flex fuel kit on this application as other vendors have suggested for theirs?

Run a full tank... seriously. You don't want risk leaning out/starving.

So what about those who daily drive the car and are under half tank. I heard that it starts to go lean under half tank. We will always have to be above half tank then?

So this system won't work safely at the track in other words, unless you carry an extra fuel tank with you?

Wouldn't the same issue also apply for all other F/I kits though?

It's a fuel tank issue not a issue specific to any of the kits

There's a fix out there for that issue, but it costs about $1300 to have installed (redoes the fuel system to turn it into a return feed system)

Or a surge / swirl tank. Plenty of fixes. Plenty of cars have issues with lower fuel levels.

Don't be afraid of this people... its not extremely bad, most people likely aren't pulling the aggression required to lean out. I did testing on the street, in canyons, mountains, etc and i only saw leaning after about 1/8th tank. I typically kept my car above 1/3 at all times, and preferred 1/2 if possible just as an extra precaution.

If you have enough grip and are pushing that hard in a turn then yes there can be issues, but i don't see it realistically being a problem for most people unless they are using this for dedicated track, in which you should probably be looking into a surge, or cell regardless of what vehicle you are in.

Just keep your tank full and you'll be fine.

Yes, this issue applies to ANY car with increased fuel consumption, including NA cars running E85.

Good question... I don't know, because I've never experienced it personally.

(In other words, this isn't something you want to ever experience, even once. It's NOT GOOD for your engine)

for the record....issues of daylighting the fuel pick-up is a subaru/scion/toyota problem and not a KW supercharger kit problem
