Oh yeah and one MORE thing. I am buying mine from Hueberger Subaru out of Colorado Springs. Even with shipping I could not find any one else that could come close to their prices for Military Service Members. http://www.heubergermotors.com/index.htm

I would recommend but with warning. Be ready to go on random drives just because. No rhyme or reason you will just drive.

It all comes down to what you want to spend and what is important to you. I liked the fr-s better than the BRZ so I bought one my wife liked the BRZ better so she bought one of those. We also have owned a veriety of different sports cars and I must say the best one you can get for the price is a maserati spyder. They are normally around $30k for a used one and they feel like a miata with a big high reving v8 under the hood. After that I would have to say that select years and trim of the corvette can be had for a great price and they prove why that car has been around for so long as soon as you drive one. Happy shopping I hope you find the best car for you!

Are you a marketing executive with Kia? With Toyota? With Subaru?

Wait until you are at the altar to say "I do". On the other hand, wait until you are married with four kids.

well aside from the fact that i dont really agree with that at all (although i do appreciate the remarkable value the frs offers), i was confused by the comparison of a car to an actual car company.

Love mine, wouldn't have chosen any other vehicle in this price range. But it does have its compromises which you will obviously have to consider.

I like mine a whole lot. If I were buying a *new* car again in this pricerange, it would be this. Definitely.

If I were including used cars... well, let's just say there's always a strong temptation to get something that I couldn't afford to maintain. I'm just glad I resisted it, bought the BRZ, and now can't afford to anymore :P

The BRZ is an awesome car. It's like a little toy that you can drive like a child and be super happy with. It's a lot of fun if you have decent roads to drive on. If you don't have any drive-y roads or regular DEs nearby I might consider something else though-- the BRZ has no power and is pretty boring to drive on grid streets (unless it rains, in which case it goes from boring to um... interesting?). But if you have winding roads nearby... get it get it get it get it. It's so much fun.

It was so nice, I bought it twice.

OK, technically my first was an FR-S, but aside from the suspension and the BRZ's bells and whistles they are essentially the same.
