And unfortunately for you alot of people value the "Crap" they put in. Like Ryephile suggested sound like you should get an FRS and buy the BRZ front and accessories to make it a BRZ aftermarket etc. By that time you've probably could afford the Premium or Limited.

The car you're looking for doesn't exist unfortunately, they would have to completely build another trim from the ground up to cater to that. They would have to offer leather Seat(which they don't have on any trim full leather anyways), a normal radio, Push start, all the speaker. It's not fair but unfortunately what we get is what we get :/

It might just be me being here for a long time, but the certain groups saying FRS should be like a Fully Loaded Limited BRZ like the 86, and the others going the BRZ should be less like the FRS. Like

...Urgh...

For Subaru, this is their first ever Rear wheel drive car in the USA, which most Americans were already on Subaru's case for not having a 4wd coupe(uneducated about the FT86 people anyways) If this car came to America anything but Loaded, the people they are targeting While Collar 47 age isn't going to buy these cars. They wont sell. as much as they want, then it will flop.

At least RA would cater to a mass amount of people who do mod. A base that's so close to a FRS is good and all but it would prolly kill Scion. Scion needs that FRS to live.

@ everyone
Just for Clarification, RA has HID, No LSD, It Has no AC only heater, No Stero, No Alloy wheels,no metal finishes. The seat are the same quality as the FRS but no Red stitching and red add on. All safety equipment are still standard. And only comes in 3 colors, SWP,CBS, and WRB. There's a extra charge in Japan for SWP.
And you can also order the RA with AC....

I hardly see how adding or removing Nav and/or HIDs would require a trim built from the "ground up". It's my opinion that if Subaru offered a base model, nobody would buy the Premium trim... You'd only get people buying the Base and Limited. I'm sure Subaru also thinks they might lose sales to the FR-S if they are competing dollar for dollar, I think they might gain some, but who knows.

In a perfect world leather would be a stand alone option as well as included in a trim package. I can live without it, big deal. My whole point is they've added unnecessary "fluff" that Scion isn't. That doesn't mean I want the Scion.

The BRZ Premium trim is basic! It only has a Navigation system included. Everything else is almost like the FR-S except for the HIDs.

HIDS should be included in this price range. I am glad Subaru saw the light on that. They are even included on the RC (really very basic) trim..

Do you mean the BRZ RA trim? If you mean the 86 RC trim, it has halogen projectors instead of HIDs. You don't get HIDs until you step up to the GT trim two grades above the RC. All these letter trims are really confusing.

If I could get the Scion spec in WR Blue without the stupid red accents, I'd be down. 16" wheels would be nice too. Are they even offered on any US models? Also, screw Nav units.

The BRZ Premium trim isn't basic compared to the Japanese options, it's the second highest one! We're forced to pay for shiny stainless steel inserts in the doors, premium audio, 17" wheels (that don't look as good as the 16"s imo), etc.

HID was a good move yes. I think most people here would be happy if they offered the second lowest trim, with basic radio, AC, no built in nav, slightly downgraded interior, 16" wheels.

tranzformer, all the Subarus have HIDs I think, and I was throwing the LSD in because that's available on the second highest model. At that point, the only substantial thing you're losing is the speakers and 17" wheels.

Ok. But I still feel the RA would be significantly cheaper since it drops a lot of options.

Someone said the Canadian BRZ-P will not have nav. This means there's a "normal" head unit, in English, that could be retrofitted rather easily. Perhaps there is an FRS owner on the other side of the fence who is itching to buy a drop-in nav system. (Careful he might be eyeballing your HID headlights!)

This.

Sometimes a car is bought to modify, sometimes simply to enjoy as-is. Both routes have their merits. Here's to many happy miles. :happy0180:

The front seat wasn't adjusted for anyone in that picture, it was simply slid all the way back. In this next picture the front seat was adjusted for me (5'9" with a 30" inseam) to be comfortable driving.
