I think you're really going to like these pads. These were my favorite race pad until they became very difficult to get in my backing plate.

Yeah I've been wanting to try them for a while; I've got experience with Hawk, PFC and Carbotech, so it'll be nice to compare them.

XR2, in the application I used it, is a superior pad. Pretty much fool proof for bedding. You can literally just throw them at a new set of rotors and hit the track, they're that good. One of the few pads that are great regardless of where they are on their heat range and they're well priced as well.

The only reason I stopped buying them was due to availability in my backing plate.

Kind of like the DTC-60 but XR2 will handle the heat better. Where I was glazing the DTC's, I was still going strong with Cobalts. The XR2's will wear slightly faster.

UPDATE:

So I have a total of 9 events on the TF Brake Cooling Kit now, and it's holding up great.

Back in November I put new Centric premium rotors on, and they now have 4 days on them on track and still very light heat checking. It looks like the Centric premiums are holding up a little bit better than the OEM rotors after 4 events; I'll see what the heat checking looks like after the next event.

Also the ti-shims are definitely helping with keeping the dust boots in tact, as 3 of my 4 dust boots still look brand spankin' new.

Also, since I ordered these, I ordered a Jackson Racing SC kit - will have to see if I can fit the air ducts around the intercooler piping.
I wonder if there is a way to use this kit by deleting the fog lights so intercooler piping wouldn't be a problem

APR ducts for BRZ
When you say APR ducts do you mean the flexible hoses or the fog light inlet? I don't understand why I cannot simply remove the fog light and use route the hose from there

You might be able to do something like this with Dremmel tool
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29281

and maybe you can secure the hoses with zip ties behind it

I am sorry if I am cluttering this threat, but are there any FI kits that would not fit due to this mod? I plan on getting the AVO kit and would like to know if it would interfere with fitment with a Koyo radiator and oil cooler.
