@orthojoe: if I recall correctly, they said it helped keep the alignment in place. I was installing rear toe arms (SPL too) at the time, so it was a no brainer to do the lockout kit as well.

Edit: what's with people posting random pics and videos on this thread..?

Sounds like you have too much damping

So either keeping the alignment in place is an issue with stock suspension.... or SPL is making useless parts and shops are recommending useless parts...?
Just saying...

Perhaps the alignment issues we are having up here in norcal that nobody else is having are from the the big elevation changes we have at our tracks? Aren't socal tracks pretty flat? The corkscrew at MRLS and turn 6 at MRLS might be the culprit as well? Throwing blind darts...

What would be a solution for that it has fully ajustable strut, camber, and an ajustment from stiff to soft. I just don't know much about the imports or newer cars for that matter.

Try reducing the damping force via the adjustments on your dampers/coilovers.

Is that located on the top of the strut mount same location as camber ajustment or on the strut itself.

Looking at the pics on their website, it should be the knob sticking out of the camber plate. The spring adjustment on the column of the strut is purely for ride height.

These knobs:

Hard to say. Keep going down until it's not bouncy anymore. Go 3-5 clicks at a time; low end stuff usually doesn't do much on the extreme end of the range.

So going softer untill its not bouncing anymore i could get it dialed in decently. My outher issue is i don't have to much time i have to drive 3k miles from idaho to south carolina next week so i guess i better get it done soon

Well... there is some slop in the stock toe adjuster, so I wouldn't go as far as calling it useless. IMO It's more 'insurance' and getting rid of the redundant stock adjuster once you add toe arms.

Since I failed to measure the front height the last time I was checking the rear toe setting to account for the effect of change in rake I think I will make it a point to do some more experimenting and visit sears a few more times. Hurray for free alignment checks!

And just my luck, it started to rain. Time for practice!
