The OEM is still pretty good though so I wouldn't discount the legit-ness of the unit. I've always seen aftermarket ones. Some seem to be really good, but I can't figure out the usefulness of them especially since seeing large particles just generally means you're effed already. LOL

I had read in amongst the internet noise that 16 inch were better but for the reasons I gave above I couldn't really see much advantage except for the 2kg saving. I think my wallet will tell me no on this one and I suspect I will listen.

Racing is all about class rules.

It all depends on the rules of your local series.

The less modified the car is, the more reliable, and generally, the easier it is to drive.

If you have a link that's in english, I can help you decide on a class.

Hey, guys! I've decided I'm going to run ZII Star Specs on my CS car this year, but am having trouble deciding on size. I'm going to run either 235/40 or 235/45, but I'm unsure if one will give me an advantage in gearing over the other. Can you guys shed any light on this? Thanks!

Thanks a lot. This was just a curiosity about the best use of the car on a track

Depends on course design. If you tend to have huge parking lots with over 55 or 60 mph top speeds, the taller tire is the better choice.

If you tend to have short, tight courses, either could work.

FWIW, I was running 235/45 R-S3s last year and was perfectly happy with that size. The speedo is only off by a few mph and actually "more correct" because the safety factor built into the speedo is neutralized by the taller tire.

Yes!

999 has more bite and is friendlier to disks, but the 777 lasts longer. The 777 also has a smaller temperature range; it likes to be at a higher heat range to be consistent.

Unless you have a specific need for longer pad life (long sprint races), you probably want the 999.

999 it is. Im ordering some motul 300 from you guys, i wish i was getting the pads too, but as the originate in japan, it just makes more sense for me to get them locally. Actually having issue now with the FPO AP address on your site, any ideas? @CSG Mike @CSG David

Shipping Motul to Japan is going to be REALLY expensive.... I hate to turn business away from CSG since they let me drive their cars, but you're probably better off getting it locally...

I am looking for a helmet

I narrowed it to the Racequip sportmod vs Zamp FSA-2 vs zamp RZ 34

There are no shops that sell helmets anywhere near me so it will have to be an interenet order. Thanks in advance
