Check out the exhaust thread and hear the different sounds made by the video. It gives an idea of what you may or may not like. Come to drive meets. There are some with mod exhaust with them and hear them in person. See how it goes from there.
I'm patiently waiting for Nameless headers so I would buy the whole bulk. |

I've heard the N1 is really loud for daily commutes, but have not heard it in person. I have the Invidia Q300, and i absolutely love it, it's not loud enough to drown out the engine noise but definately loud enough to compliment it. It's perfect for what i was wanting. I'll see if i can find a video i took of it, if not ill try recording one later tonight.

The N1 is going to be a good bit louder than the Q300 so it really depends on what noise level you want.
My personal vote is the Q300 - it does sound great on every car we install one on! |

These are the Vid's i have.
This is just a rev video [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhLRSvleot4&list=PL117AA5BAB4A7A181"]FR-S Invidia Q300 Exhaust - YouTube[/ame] This one isn't really an exhaust video but i figured it would give a good idea as to how much you would hear it with normal ish driving. Thanks! I've seen a video of the Q300 during a normal drive and the guy said it sounded too much like stock. Is this true?

Which one did you end up going with? I'm shopping around too and I'm really liking the way the N1 looks, but have yet to hear it in person

I ended up going with the N1. I fell in love with it. It's not extremely loud as people claim and has a real good sound to it. I recently installed the RevWorks UEL header.

I just got a Q300 installed on my FRS last night. Definitely quiet while driving normally. Louder at start up but not obnoxious where you'll wake people up living around you. This is my first aftermarket exhaust so I'm not used to loud ones anyways.
