none of the renders look like muscle anymore. looks more along the lines of a large luxery coupe.

Whenever a car goes through a major redesign, i always think they should just release it as a different model instead and call it a successor.

at least it's better (IMHO) than the barracuda concept car replacement for the challenger...

I love the cuda kits for the modern challengers tho:

Yeah, these renders have been out for awhile (last year) and were heavily discussed. I suspect the final product will look more like the current Mustang and less like the renders. Hopefully the new car will shed some weight and not have a live rear axle and the interior will be improved. It will also be interesting to see what engines they give us in the US (lots of talk of turbo 4 cylinder, but that V6 is just so good, and how can you not have a V8!)

If they can bring the weight to 3,200 lbs (hell just under 3,500 would be an improvement), put the ecoboost v6 in there (365 hp, 420 lb-ft torque) it will be a monster. And it looks interesting, like or dislike it catches the eye much more than the 86 could ever hope to.

To me it looks like it's about 80% Aston Martin 20% Audi R8
