You could say that about pretty much every engine built before 1975, should we get rid of those too?

Not everything is about what's on the paper, I mean you're here, does it really have to be explained?

No, because those are engines that are close to 40 years old. We're talking about the most recent rotary engines made maybe 10 years ago. I'll hold more recently built motors to different standards than ones from decades ago for obvious reasons.

With LS3 or L92 heads, LS3 intake/injectors, and a mild cam, the LS2 can easily make LS7 power

Maybe I should call my car an RX-Z07...

I'm working on the build thread now. The car has a T56 trans, and all the accessories still function like A/C, heat, etc.

The T56 sits farther rear than the BRZ trans, so I don't think the weight balance will be as far off as people think. I'm getting the alignment done today so I'll weigh it.

As long as I keep fat passengers out of it, now everyone can stop telling me about how I ruined the balance of the car.

you ruined the balance of your car.
you could've got a corvette for the same money lol

I love comments like these.

First, I'm glad you're an expert on chassis dynamics and have the corner weights of my car.

Second, I've owned a 2011 Z06, so yes, I could have bought one, but as with anyone else who is a true gearhead... it isn't nearly as cool.

I also have a GT-R... should I waste my money to make an AWD BRZ next?

The balance of the car will be thrown off for sure. It's built for a little tiny 4 banger. At the same time, WHO CARES?! This is an AWESOME swap! Nicely done!

Edit: Just saw the build thread. Everything that would have REALLY thrown the car off has been taken care of. Brakes and suspension mostly. The weight of the tranny and rear end will help with evening out the car being nose heavy. Those T56's are not light.
