That's probably as good as it can get when it comes to pricing. Curious what their invoice will show though.

Or wait for it to come out on VIP.

True enough, although by that point you could probably get it for that pricing without bothering with VIP

Although in your case, they are even willing to sell at Invoice + $500 and still not getting the deal. Translation: I'm sure it's easier being a sports car dealer in Florida than it is in Kansas.

Just makes what Dave and Grinch did all that more impressive. In a place where I'm sure the dealer would have no problem charging MSRP (or close to it for the foreseeable future) they managed to get $500 over Invoice.

Places have been taking deposits for several weeks-months now. Officially car is to come sometime this spring (April or May is best guess). But deposits have been taken for some time now.

I'm sure there's a lot of people that know, they're just keeping quiet so they don't tip off all of us lowly enthusiasts.

Pricing probably hasnt been released because they haven't determined it yet. They could be trying to see if it sells good in japan; if it does, we get it more expensive and if not, its a lower price

I have debated something like this, but figured registration would be trickier. I can't say I have intimate knowledge of the DMV/MVA or how stuff like that works.
