Just because the dealer is going to fill his spot with what you want doesn't mean you will know the price. The dealer really doesn't care too much what the prices of any options are as they have a general idea of the cost and they will order whatever they think will sell.

I couldn't agree more with the bolded print. I really hope pricing is released, but I don't feel it has to be released on Monday as you pointed out. The customer can still put their order in/dealer the same and pricing still be released several weeks later prior to delivery of the cars.

I really hope it is released on Monday but don't see it as a sure thing.

I just got to thinking and remember that somewhere or someone asked a SOA person about the financing rate and specials for the car. And I remember they might do something similar to Japan's 1.9% for 60 months thing. So I might wait out to see what kind of deals just alittle bit but pricing would help, alot of us plan a bit better.

Hey all just got an update from my local dealer that I have been in contact with regarding the BRZ here is the email.

Looks like the BRZ ordering date has been pushed back a little. Here is the latest message from my Subaru district representative:


"Sold Orders will open to dealers on Thursday, March 1, not February 27. Pricing will be announced in March."

just got this email today. Thing still are looking up as the days get closer. Hopefully we will have pricing and ordering starting march.

It is March 1st now, it was pushed back yesterday morning.
